Typhoon Advisory – Travel Insurance
As Typhoon "Champi" is approaching and affecting parts of Japan and Taiwan, AIG Macau is treating this Incident as a known risk.
If you purchased a Single Trip Travel Insurance policy before 2:20 p.m. on 21 October 2026 (the "Cut-off Time"), or if you hold an Annual Travel Plan policy and had arranged your trip before the Cut-off Time, any related travel losses arising from this event may be covered, subject to the terms and conditions of the policy#.
Conversely, if the policy is purchased or the trip is arranged after the Cut-off Time, any losses arising from this event will not be covered.
AIG Macau will continue to closely monitor the situation and will provide further updates as necessary.
